Just an FYI, Mizzou will not be attending because the Region 9 mirror is about 2 hours closer for us.

Will the D1 field be combined with the D2 field for this, since there's only 3 D1 teams?

Yes (unless a fourth Division I team would like to sign up).

Sorry for not recalling, but does that mean the field plays on the DI set?

This combined field will use the DII set (because there are three DI teams and nine DII teams).

Since it will use the combined set, how will bids work? Will a D1 team and some D2 teams get bids?

The overall champion and the highest-ranking Division II team will both receive automatic bids to ICT. (Of course, it is possible for those to be the same team.)

We attended three-handed. Kane Watkins had a nasty infection going. He could barely stand up, and he's too big for us to carry, so he stayed home.

We went 5-6, so likely no NAQT Nationals. UCO's Math Club won't mind, they wanted me in Arkadelphia AR for a competition that same weekend. But I would like to have gone to see all the old-timers I used to play against way back when.

Full results and records will be coming soon, but for those of you dying of curiosity, Harding A defeated Oklahoma State in a one-game final to take the auto-bid for Region 11.

I just want to congratulate Oklahoma State on the job they did hosting this. It was easily one of the smoothest logistical tournaments I've ever been to, and I know me and my teammates had a blast playing this. The mods, for the most part, were excellent and were getting through 21 questions at a minimum.

I think it's safe to say that as far as Truman State is concerned the tournament was enjoyable. There were hiccups here and there, but nothing that deterred us from having an all out good day. Great thanks is due to Oklahoma State for being good hosts and due praise is in order for Harding for winning the tournament.

Thank you to those that came to Region 11's SCT at OSU. Congratulations to Harding A for winning the championship and a bid to ICT! The stats have been posted online at http://naqt.com/stats/tournament-teams. ... nt_id=4164

OSU had a great time hosting the event and looks forward to doing so again in the future. We want to make this the best it can be for everyone, so any and all feedback is welcome!

Thanks again!
