Valencia can provide two buzzers.

I shouldn't speak for UCF, but I will--Mickey Sizemore told me he and his brother, at least, will definitely play for UCF. I'll put him in touch.

Beardo! Confirm for the Gators!

There's a slightly updated field above. Based on the number of moderators and buzzers, I'm going to tentatively cap the field at 16 teams. That means there are only a couple more spots left.

If there are indeed 14 packets as advertised, 9-round prelims after which the top 5 teams play in a top bracket for 4 more rounds, and likewise for the bottom 5 teams in a bottom bracket, perhaps?

Alternatively, Round 1 can be two games, 5 teams each CAC-style, with the top 3 teams from each game advancing to the semis. We'll be over in time for the FSU game, for sure!

5-bracket RRs would have to be 5 rounds; if you're going to do a playoff, 4-3-3 (with possible cross-bracket matches for the bottom two) would probably work best. That also leaves you 2 packets for finals.

Stats for the initial round robin:
http://www.hsquizbowl.org/db/tournament ... und_rodin/

UF (8-1) had a one game advantage over Chipola A and UCF (both 7-2).
Chipola A (Paul et al) defeated UCF (Mickey et al) 355-40 for the chance to play UF in the finals.
Chipola A then defeated UF (Dallin solo) 200-160 in the first game of the final.

Billy did a great job hosting, starting on time, printing and posting stats frequently, and keeping us readers on time. The Valencia teams had a good time, and they learned a lot. Congrats to the Kelson boys, whom we can identify by the trail of dead in their wake.
