Welcome to the FIFTH iteration of MacVanity, to be held TBD (likely contemporaneous with VETO). Exact location and times are TBA, but likely somewhere near the Student Centre (MUSC) and probably looking at a #9am start time. As always, half the proceeds from this event will go to the McMaster Children's Hospital. This is pack-submission, however if you would like to pay DOUBLE the entry fee, then you may register a team without having submitted a pack.

To pay: please pay in cash the day of the tournament, or e-transfer sometime near then; it will be $80/team plus a pack, or $160/team minus a pack
To get discounts: $5 discount for working buzzers; $5 discount per 300km travel one-way; gratitude for staffers
To play: please be prepared to enjoy yourselves, not take things too seriously, and also wear something comfortable for the participatory bonuses

How to Write for MacVanity V

*Your pack should have an amusing subtitle; extra prize for best subtitle
**Multimedia questions and novel question types are encouraged, but not necessary

This is an exhaustive distribution, but, since it is a vanity tournament, you are encouraged to write on anything you want regarding these broad categories. If you want to tangentially link categories together through a bonus, you can do that. If you want to write a cross-disciplinary tossup to kill a few categories with one stone, then so be it. Know your limit, play within it, amiright?
