The Human Use of Human Beings - Summer 2018

Postby Mike Bentley » Fri Sep 01, 2017 11:43 am

I'm pleased to announce The Human Use of Human Beings, another tournament in the vein of We Have Never Been Modern and A Culture of Improvement.

This will be an 8 packet tournament with the following distribution:
6 Science and technology history-related things
5 Computer related things
5 Business / consumer history related things
2 Misc. Academic
2 Misc. Pop Culture

See previous sets for what to expect in terms of question content, length and difficulty.

The tournament is around 80% written right now (although not edited). I hope to have it finished for Summer 2018, probably for a side event weekend.

I can safely say this is the best tournament of the summer.

FYI I haven't made a ton of progress on this since I've been focusing on the NSC, but it remains mostly written from a raw question perspective. I'll have an update in June once I have time to get back to working on this more full time.
