The Quizbowl Resource Center

This is an announcement for Eyes That Do Not See IX, another iteration in my line of visual questions on the visual fine arts. There will be 100 tossups and a couple of extras. I've pretty much written it all at this point, I just need to compile it into packets. It should be available as early as August, but given the packed nature of summer tournaments I think it would be best attached to an event such as WAO II. I will most likely also run a Skype mirror of it. The tournament is free to mirror and play. If you're interested in mirroring it, e-mail me at [email protected].

By the way, the tournament should be a bit easier than last year's, although there will still be a good selection of answers on the harder side of the canon.

The tournament is now complete. I'm going to make a separate post for a Skype playtest.

And it's now been edited to incorporate feedback from the Skype mirror. Let me know if you're interested in mirroring this. I'll probably keep the set non-posted through the end of the year.

FYI I kicked everyone out of the 2017 Eyes That Do Not See user group (which was for Eyes VIII). I've started an Eyes IX thread in there. Re-apply for membership if you want to discuss the set.

The last mirror I know about took place last weekend. Let me know in the next day or two if you still want to mirror it, otherwise I'll post the set.

(I'm also open to doing another online mirror for anyone who missed the in-person ones.)
