2017 NAQT SCT at UCF (2/4/17)

UCF Quizbowl proudly announces that we will host the Florida mirror of the NAQT Sectional Championship Tournament on Saturday, February 4th, 2017. Registration for this tournament will be conducted via the NAQT website: https://www.naqt.com/registration/regis ... nt_id=8152

Logistics
Location TBD on UCF’s Main Campus in Orlando, Florida. Registration will open at 8 AM and close at 8:45 AM.

Parking and Lodging
Parking will depend on which building the University assigns us. There are many affordable hotels near UCF that can be used by traveling teams, but if you do plan on staying overnight, contact me - there are also a lot of crumby hotels in Orlando.

Cost
Base fee: $125
New to quizbowl discount: -$20 (note: UCF, UF, and NCF do not qualify for this)
Multiple team discount: -$25 for every team after the first (this basically means that the base fee for non-first teams is $100)
Buzzer: -$10/functional system that we use
Clock: -$5/clock that we use
Staffers: -$30/competent staffer whom we use (clear staffers with me ahead of time, please)
Minimum fee: $40
Pay at the tournament.
