VCU Novice at UMD (September 26, 2015)

I am pleased to announce that the University of Maryland will be hosting a mirror of the VCU Novice set on September 26th, 2015. The tournament will begin at 9:30 AM, with registration starting at 9:00 AM in room 0105 of Jimenez Hall. As the name suggests, this tournament will be perfect for teams and players new to collegiate quizbowl; more details, including eligibility rules, can be found here.

Entry Fees and Discounts:

$15 base fee per person.
-$5 per working buzzer system
-$5 per staff member
-$5 travel discount if team is travelling 150 miles or more one way
Minimum fee: $5 per person

Registration:

To register for the tournament, contact me at jbrownst (at) terpmail (dot) umd (dot) edu.

Field:
House: 2-3 teams
NYU: 2 teams
Georgetown: 1 teams
John Hopkins: 1 teams
