Matt Weiner has resigned from PACE

Post by ryanrosenberg »

As of about 1 PM this afternoon, PACE received word that Matt Weiner has resigned his membership, thereby resigning from the office of Vice President of Tournament Direction, and from his oversight of the logistics of the 2015 National Scholastic Championship.

The PACE board has appointed Dan Puma as interim Vice President of Tournament Direction until such time as a permanent replacement is elected by the membership. We expect to have an announcement available by the middle of the month confirming who will serve as Vice President of Tournament Direction for the remainder of the 2014-15 competition year.

The 2015 NSC will continue as scheduled on June 6 and 7, 2015, at the Hyatt Regency Reston in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Teams that plan to attend this year’s NSC should continue to register and submit payment via the current method; we are continuing to process new registrations and payments at a regular rate.
