Iowa 2016-17 Calendar

The Iowa Quiz Bowl League begins its second season of operation by adding two new officers, Nathan Coombs as Secretary (Ankeny Southview) and Kathie Foreman (Logan-Magnolia). Here is this year's tournament calendar:

Oct 1 - Fall Novice at Waukee
Nov 5 - Fall Open at Waukee (possible other sites)
Jan 14 - Morningside College/KCAU-TV Qualifiying Tournament
Feb 4 - Middle School Classic at Ankeny Southview
Feb 18 - Winter Open at Waukee (possible other sites)
March 4 - 2017 Iowa Quiz Bowl Championships

Also added to the Executive Committee as an at-large member was Michael Yilek, who is the coach at Drexel Middle School in the Western Dubuque School District.
