You should probably put Easter on here, the weekend of March 30th.

Most public schools in Delaware at least will be back in school on January 2nd, so after that should be a regular weekend for a lot of teams.

CR will tentatively then reserve April 13th for Rider Bowl IV.

Is an 8-8-8 states happening this year for Maryland? I remember some post last year from Isaac Hirsch saying that he was going to run it. Also, I know It's Ac has their schedule already made, as they told our coach the date of our first taping. When they'll put it on their website, who knows...

Virginia Tech will be running a tournament in the VHSL Piedmont district, in hopes of getting SCAEL teams involved in Saturday tournaments. Exact date TBD: either right before or right after their season starts.

Blacksburg High School is planning to run an invitational on either HSAPQ or NAQT questions on January 12. I do note the potential conflict between the New Kent/Freeman date and ours, but I feel that the circuits are distinct enough that it shouldn't make a big difference to either of us.

FYI: I guess since xc is the sport that correlates most with quiz bowl, I should mention that Bull run (the most important invitational in the season) is on Sept. 22 and the Maryland state championships are on Nov. 10

Centennial High School will be having its tournament (NAQT-Novice set but open to everyone) hopefully with a Novice Division and Varsity Division on SUNDAY 12/2/12 (a day after the SATs). Thanks to Paul Kirk-Davidoff of OM for already posting this.
Blake High School is also running a quiz-bowl tournament on October 27.

Unfortunately, Blair will not be able to host on November 17th due to a county wide event being held at our school that day. We are currently looking into other suitable dates that do not conflict with other tournaments and we will post an official announcement as soon as everything is finalized.

Actually Perry Hall seems to be hosting a tournament run on IS-119A (viewtopic.php?f=1&t=13558) and that would be closer to the DC Area than if Charter changed their sets for the JV division

NHBB Maryland has been switched to January 5 due to conflicts at the host school. February 2 is retained as a backup date in case of bad weather.

I am pleased to report that the JV division for Charter's fall tournament has been switched to IS #117A, resolving this conflict.
