2012 Maryland NASAT team

Postby Mr. Joyboy » Sun Mar 18, 2012 12:10 pm

Seeing as there really is no discussion on wether or not Maryland will have a NASAT team, I want to get people's opinions on:

1. Is there any interest in fielding a team for NASAT?

2. If so, where/when should tryouts be held, if they're held at all?

3. How would transportation work and how would the costs be split?

I can say that I would really want to field a team for this, because my team can't really go to any national tournaments this year. Also, our team could probably accomodate any tryouts after our tournament next week.

We'd [by we I mean me, I guess, I don't want to speak for the team] would be okay with helping run team tryouts, assuming our campus is accessible enough for try-outers.

That'd be fine with me, especially because it means interested people would register for Maryland Spring!

If anyone is still interested, Oakland Mills can still host tryouts for a Maryland NASAT team. They'd probably consist of tossups from an old packet, read shootout style. Any interested people should email me at isaac@kirk-davidoff.net.

Sorry to hear that. If you somehow get a team together, you can still register up to, I believe, the 15th.
