Starting a new Quizbowl Team

Postby yang » Tue Apr 05, 2016 5:09 pm

Hi everyone! New to the forum. I'm a student at Lexington High School, and I'd love to start a quizbowl team there. What tips are there to recruiting new members and training?

Thanks,
Michael :kenj:

Are you in Lexington, KY or Lexington, MA or some other Lexington?

Based on his Facebook profile, he presumably goes to Lexington HS in Massachusetts.

Lexington HS in Mass already has both a QB team and an NHBB team, no?

Have you got any resources for someone just starting out? :aaa: I was thinking of doing history.

There is a large amount of useful information on these previous related topic threads.

If you are from Lexington High in Massachusetts, your school already has a good quiz bowl team.

So I'm not sure what's going on here, as Lexington clearly has had a quizbowl team for years and I'd be amazed that someone attending the school wouldn't be aware of its existence, but of these forums.

Michael, if this is actually you and you are interested in quizbowl, you have all the information you need here. If this is someone else from Lexington impersonating as Michael, shame on you for wasting others' time.
