Starting A New Team

Post by ksftennigurl13 »

Hi everyone,
I want to start a quizbowl team for my private school in New York City. Are private schools allowed to compete? How do you recommend I start? Where can I buy the buzzer system online? Thanks!

Welcome to the quizbowl community!

In general, private schools and public schools compete together at the same events. We have a calendar of upcoming tournaments in the New York metro area, which you can find here.

The Officiator from Anderson Systems is a reliable and inexpensive buzzer system.
