LaTEX!!!

But really to at least begin to answer your question, USC and Furman have had teams participate in regional events this year.

Clemson will have a team next year. George from Dorman will be starting their team, and Nick may be going there as well.

Traditionally, the University of South Carolina is the only consistent program in the state, having gone to a decent number of tournaments every year since the mid-90s. That should change next year with Clemson's new team. Furman sent a one person team to some tournaments last year but didn't attend any tournaments after ACF Regionals. North Greenville and Wofford have also sent some teams to tournaments in the area in the last few years, but don't consistently travel. I seem to remember The Citadel going to a tournament or two last year as well.

I believe Morris (in Sumter?) has ventured out of the HCASC circuit before...

What are you looking to do with this information? Are you trying to come up with places to apply next year or something? If so, have you considered looking outside the state?

UGA, for example, would only be 30 minutes farther from Myrtle Beach than Clemson (according to Google Maps) and is, of course, way cooler. (I mean, which one of us has purple as an official school color?) And if you're looking at private schools like Furman and Wofford, even out-of-state tuition at UGA will probably still be cheaper (and sometimes offers waivers for strong candidates to pay the in-state rate). I know a ton of UGA students who come from South Carolina.

And I guess I should also point out that, if you're willing to look beyond state lines, you might also want to consider schools in the Triangle like UNC (or Duke, if they have a team).

I figure I'll get into this as well.

Is there any QB in NJ besides Rutgers? And what about in New York?

Well, Rutgers New Brunswick and Rutgers Newark both have a team, as does Princeton. I don't think any other schools really have a team in New Jersey.

In the New York City area Columbia is really the only school with a real team. NYU used to have a team, but now they only play trash. In the greater New York area there's also Cornell and Rochester.

Swarthmore, Penn, and Delaware are also pretty close to New Jersey and have active teams.

Well, Rutgers Newark, Rutgers, and Delaware are on my radar for schools I'm looking at. Princeton, Columbia, Rochester, and Swarthmore would all probably laugh at my app.

I really want to do QB in College, but I don't know about getting into a school that has a team. Every school I'm applying to has a team (The Rutgers, Delaware, and Maryland.) But my #1 school and most likely place to attend (Montclair State) has nothing, not even CBI as far as I know. And I know for a fact founding a team there would be a chore and a half.

It is my understanding that next year Doug Yetman and some Hunter HS players like Guy Tabachnick and Tony Cheng will be doing some stuff at CCNY and will be forming a team there.

I had heard Yetman was going to a CUNY, but hadn't heard anything about a team yet. Sounds interesting.

Yeah, by CCNY, he means CUNY. Dave Letzler will be there too; more specifically, Hunter College. Tony and I might be eligible to play for Hunter's team, assuming the schedules work out so that we can take Arabic down there. If things work out, expect to see us at various functions next year as a team.

Technically, I'm going to be studying at the Grad Center and teaching at York College. As I really should be starting, you know, developing work for my professional career, I doubt I'll be able to put that much time in; however, if I'm in Manhattan when you're practicing, I'd be glad to come out, and I can probably join you for a few tournaments here and there and read for tourneys in NYC itself.
