ACF Fall 2016 subject editor application

Postby gaurav.kandlikar » Fri May 13, 2016 10:31 am

Hello,

ACF is soliciting applications for subject editorship of ACF Fall, which will (tentatively) take place the weekend of November 5, 2016. All collegiate or post-collegiate writers with prior writing experience are encouraged to apply. Editing ACF Fall is a fantastic way to make a lasting impact on the collegiate quizbowl community- the set reached >215 teams in 2015, including many players completely new to collegiate quizbowl. Editors of ACF Fall can also become eligible for membership in ACF.

How to Apply

To apply, fill out this Google form. Among other things, the form requires 1) a sample of questions written and 2) a reference who can discuss your writing and editing ability. We will evaluate applications on the basis of writing quality and demonstrated ability to meet regular editing deadlines.

Please submit applications by 11.59 PM PST on Monday, June 6, 2016. We hope to assemble the final editing team in the following week. If you have any questions, please email me at gaurav.kandlikar@gmail.com or post in this thread.

A number of people expressed interest in applying for this at NSC last weekend, so I am extending the deadline to Thursday, 9 June, 11.59 pm PST
