CHANGE: Texas QB Camp Mirror at Valencia: August 23

UPDATE: Due to the inexperience of most of the field and requests from some of that field, I've decided to run the tournament at Valencia this coming Saturday on the Texas QB Camp sets. I've contacted Chris Romero to confirm this mirror.

Valencia College will host a mirror using the Texas HS Camp questions on Saturday, August 23. Our site will have a current and former CC-player-heavy field, though I'll also be playing, so it would be great if some more experienced players want to attend. I hope some of you southerners will consider coming down. I'm going to charge $50/team cash money. Post here or e-mail me if you're interested in playing.

The top two teams (based on record and then PPG) from each bracket (Travisty [1A], Billy [1B], Borglum [2A], and UCF A [2B] made the top bracket.

In the top playoff bracket Billy, UCF A, and I ended up with 7-2 records. UCF A gave me my two losses, so either they or Billy won. Billy beat them in the last match, but I know quiz bowl dogma says one head-to-head win isn't definitive, etc. And Billy had better stats. However, the A/C had been turned off at 5:30 when we were supposed to be done, so at 6:30 it was becoming unpleasant to still be in the building. And I had a math dean's party to go to! So I'd say Billy won, but it's okay with me if UCF says they did. But we all got to play nine rounds of quiz bowl, so WE ARE ALL WINNERS.
