American History Packet

To work out my intense emotions after the death of Whitney Houston, I wrote another iteration of "many 3-4, very hard questions on American History topics." In this case, they are all from (well, almost all) from the 20th century, tend to lazily in chronological order, and are I think probably harder than the last few iterations. I'll read it in the IRC either tonight or tomorrow night and then post it here afterwards.

I've got a few more questions I want to write, so let's say if you want to play this, I'll be in the IRC starting around 7 PM EST tomorrow night.

The questions (generally) run from 1901 to 1980. The final iteration of these packets will probably cover 1980 and beyond.

Packet is linked here. In an IRC playing, the scores were:

(note that not all participants were there for the whole time)

George Berry--155
Matt Lafer--135
Will Butler--125
David Seal and Evan Adams--95
Sam Bailey--40
Daniel Hothem--10
Auroni Gupta--5
Zach Foster--5
Matt Bollinger--5
Isaac Hirsch--0

I didn't count people who were there but never answered a question or negged.

I've written the last packet in this series, which covers the 1980's to the late 1990's. It's shorter than the others mainly because its time frame is a little more constrained and I also didn't really want to start moving into the 2000's and more "current" events. There are a few random questions near the end from earlier time periods.

As a "special" bonus, this packet also contains as an addendum--22 bonuses for an unwritten Phineas and Ferb theme packet that I never wrote which have been sitting on my computer I think since last fall.

After a reading in the IRC, the scores were (obviously not everyone was around for every question):

Will Butler--95
Eric Mukherjee--55
Andrew from New Jersey--45
Zach Foster--40
Chris Chiego--40
Max Schindler--30
Matt Bollinger--20
David Seal--15
Jon Pinyan--10
Auroni Gupta: 0
Dan Passner: -5
Matt Jackson: -5
