NFL Knockout Contest - Week Two

Post by AKKOLADE »

Here's our schedule:
nfl.com wrote: Sunday, Sep. 17
Buffalo at Miami - 1:00 p.m.
Carolina at Minnesota - 1:00 p.m.
Cleveland at Cincinnati - 1:00 p.m.
Detroit at Chicago - 1:00 p.m.
Houston at Indianapolis - 1:00 p.m.
New Orleans at Green Bay - 1:00 p.m.
N.Y. Giants at Philadelphia - 1:00 p.m.
Oakland at Baltimore - 1:00 p.m.
Tampa Bay at Atlanta - 1:00 p.m.
Arizona at Seattle - 4:05 p.m.
St. Louis at San Francisco - 4:05 p.m.
Kansas City at Denver - 4:15 p.m.
New England at N.Y. Jets - 4:15 p.m.
Tennessee at San Diego - 4:15 p.m.
Washington at Dallas - 8:15 p.m.

Monday, Sep. 18
Pittsburgh at Jacksonville - 8:30 p.m.
If you pick a team you've already chosen - right or wrong - I will try to catch it, but it is your responsibility as the player to make sure you don't make this mistake. If you do make this mistake and do not catch it, I'll drop one of your byes as available. If a bye is not available, I will randomly drop a team from your selection pool.

If you have yet to play and wish to join in, go ahead. Just know that week one ate your byes.

Have fun!

After much deliberation, I've decided that I'd like to change my picks of Atlanta and Chicago to Atlanta and New Orleans. Again, sorry for any inconvenience.

As much as it pains me to do this (and could well get me two knockouts) -

St. Louis over San Francisco
New Orleans over Green Bay

Saint Louis was not a caring team this week.

Current standings:

Zero knockouts: Byko, Deckard Cain, GT86, leftsaidfred, Matt Morrison, MLafer, quizbowllee, styxman, swwFCqb
One KO: AndyBrindleeMountain, Djibouti, DumbJacques, Gonzagapuma1, jonpin, KilroyWasHere, laszlow, Notjustold...
Two KOs: brownboy79, DaGeneral, ValenciaQBowl
Three KOs: cornfused

Note that jonpin and laszlow used their byes by default, whilst Matt Morrison used a bye last week.
