Wissahickon High School Tournament (Ambler, PA)

The Wissahickon Academic Quizbowl Team would like to invite your team to our first tournament, to be held on March 4th, 2017, at Wissahickon High School, 521 Houston Rd, Ambler PA 19002.

Time: Registration will take place between 8:00 and 8:30 and the whole tournament will likely conclude around 3:00, with a break for lunch. Further logistical information including room locations and parking details will be sent to registered teams closer to the date of the tournament.

Divisions: We hope to have 18 teams, so this will be an open tournament, but we encourage new teams to apply.

Fees: $75 per team, $5 discount per buzzer and $15 discount per experienced moderator

Questions: We will be using the Invitational Series # 163A (or IS-163A for short) set. Please note that 163A is being used for the Lancaster-Lebanon League and the Schuylkill County event, so teams in those leagues will not be able to compete at Wissahickon.

Each round will have the standard 20 toss-up questions, with a 3-part bonus after each correctly answered toss-up question.
