Virginia Tech "Winter" (3/11/17) [LIST VI]

Hello all!
Virginia Tech is pleased to announce our mirror of LIST VI, to be held on March 11, 2017!
Location
The tournament will take place in McBryde Hall located on 225 Stanger St. A map of campus can be accessed here.
Question Set
The tournament will be running a mirror of Ladue Invitational Spring Tournament VI, which was graciously provided by Raj Paul and the Ladue team.
PACE Qualification
This tournament has been award the Platinum certification from the Partnership for Academic Competition Excellence! This means that the top 25% of teams from this tournament will earn a bid to PACE's National Scholastic Championship on the weekend of June 10th-11th at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare outside of Chicago.
Registration
In order to register for this tournament, please contact Eric Chang via email at ([email protected]) with coach's contact information, including a phone number where the coach can be reached on the day of the tournament, the number of teams, and any expected discounts. On the day of the tournament, registration will begin at 8:15, and matches will be starting at 9:00.
Fees
Base fee: $60
Working buzzer set: -$5
Competent Moderator with laptop: -$10
Scorekeeper: -$5
Traveling over 150 miles one-way: -$10
New to Quizbowl: -$10
Team Size
Teams are limited to six players, and only four can play at any one time. If a school wishes to field more than six players, they must register an additional team.
Format
The field will be initially capped at 20 teams, but we may expand this if resources allow. Teams registering after the field as been set will be placed on a waiting list. We will guarantee at least 10 rounds of competition for every team.
