Hello all!

Norwin High School Quiz Bowl is thrilled to announce that Norwin Senior High School (251 McMahon Drive, Irwin, PA 15642) will be hosting the first iteration of the Norwin Invitational, on February 4, 2017!

Note: The packet we will be using is IS-163A. Before you sign up, please make sure that you are attending no other tournament that uses the same packet. We will be following the standard untimed NAQT format with 20 tossups and bonuses in each round. Further information may be found in the following link: https://www.naqt.com/rules.html

Field Cap:
The initial field size will be capped at 24 teams, with the ability to expand indefinitely, given enough staffers and equipment can be acquired.

Fees:
First Team: $70
Second Team: $65
Third or Higher Team: $60
For interested teams, copies of the question set will be available after the close of the tournament at a cost of $20.

Discounts:
-$10 for teams new to NAQT
-$10 for each functioning buzzer system
-$10 for each moderator (with experience, notified 2 weeks in advance of the tournament)
-$10 for each school traveling over 200 miles to attend

Payment can be made either in cash or by check made out to “Norwin Activity Fund”.
Copies of the question set will be made available after the tournament at a cost of $20.

Schedule:
Check-in will begin at 8:00am.
A brief moderator/scorekeeper meeting will begin at 8:30am.
Round one will begin at the close of the moderator/scorekeeper meeting (around 9:00am).
