William Rufus King Invitational X at Alabama (10/08/16)

The Alabama Academic Quizbowl Team will be hosting William Rufus King Invitational X on Saturday October 8th, 2016. The tournament will be held in Bidgood Hall. We plan to use NAQT IS-157A as our question set. Our tournament has been awarded gold certification by PACE, meaning that the top 20% of competing teams will qualify for PACE NSC on June 10th-11th at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare outside of Chicago.
The fee structure for the tournament will be as follows:
- $65 for one team
- $55 for every additional team
Discounts:
- $5 per buzzer set (up to 2 discounts per working buzzer but feel free to bring more) - All of your buzzers must work to receive any buzzer discount.
- $10 per 200 miles traveled according to Google maps.
- If this is your first tournament as a program (or your first in 5 years), or if your team is not sponsored by your school, talk to us and we'll work out a payment plan.
Minimum fee: $40 per team
Anyone interested in attending should email [email protected] with how many teams/buzzers you intend to bring.
