Homestead Invitational (April 16)

The Homestead Quiz Bowl Club, in conjunction with the Northern California Quiz Bowl Alliance, are pleased to announce the first-ever Homestead Invitational on April 16th, 2016. The tournament will be held at Homestead High School (21370 Homestead Road, Cupertino, CA 95014).

Check-in starts at 8:30AM, and the opening meeting is at 9:15AM. The first round will begin at 9:30AM, and the tournament will end at approximately 5:00PM. There will be both JV and Varsity divisions, and the field is capped at 28 teams. We will be enforcing gameplay rules from sections D-H of the Academic Competition Federation (http://acf-quizbowl.com/documents/official-acf-rules/).

Varsity - BHSAT
JV - IS155-A

Fees:
$75 base fee
-5 for each buzzer set
-10 for each moderator/scorekeeper
-15 for schools new to Quiz Bowl in the 15-16 school year
Payment will be taken in the form of cash or checks made out to HHS ASB on the day of the tournament.
