Hinsdale Central Quizbowl presents: TEAMS [September 5th]
The Hinsdale Central quizbowl team is pleased to announce TEAMS on September 5th, 2015, the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend.

Most teams have not started meeting yet, but we encourage motivated players to try to attend with an adult chaperone/supervisor even if their coaches are not available. For coaches who can bring your teams, we encourage you to staff to take advantage of our moderator discount.

We're coming either way, but could I find out if this will be 4 on 4, or if it will be 5 on 5?

Full stats are up. A 10-team round robin was run. DCC, followed by HC and then Stevenson (ordered by ppg) finished 8-1. HC played Stevenson, and the winner of that match, HC, played DCC as a finals match. "Harsha's Hattrick" defeated Homewood-Flossmoor to take 6th. Loyola left before its tiebreaker with "PGSW".
a formal conclusion post will occur shortly by our td sunny

Re: Hinsdale Central Quizbowl presents: TEAMS [September 5th
Congratulations to Hinsdale Central A for taking first place. DCC A took second and Stevenson took third in a circle-of-death that occurred after the conclusion of the round-robin.
Thanks to Brad Fischer, Brad Savage, Mike Laudermith, Jennie Yang, and Baasit Jamal for moderating; Peter Ren, Rohith Balusu, Steven Botsoe, Alec Johnson, and Ian Sokolowski for scorekeeping; Harrison Wang for keeping stats and Alan McCloud, co-TD, for making this first tournament as fluid and successful as possible.
Full stats can be found here.

Has there been any discussion whether there will be a September 2016 tournament run by Hinsdale?

Hello Coach Sacks,
It looks like another tournament like this won't be happening. However, I (not on behalf of Hinsdale Central nor its quizbowl team) endorse the tentative September tournament at OPRF.
