I also want to use this space to recognize that yet another great Florida quiz bowl coach is no longer with us. I only recently learned that Mr. Roger Ross from Montverde Academy outside of Orlando succumbed to cancer in April. My students and I always loved competing at his tournament, and as a coach, Mr. Ross was such a passionate supporter of helping his students learn about the world through quiz bowl. We will miss him.
