Science Olympiad/Quizbowl

Post by historynerd11 »

I am a Quizbowler interested in science but am not sure how good I am. I am trying to find free and helpful materials that would help me get into the school science olympiad and help me in Quizbowl. The test for SO is on the branches of science , not the actual events. If anyone has any tips or resources I can use, that would be great! Thank you.

How you prepare will depend on the material on your school's tryout exam. If you don't know any specifics about the exam, just go through some of your old science textbooks and read through them to gain more knowledge of the basics. However, a good resource for all things Scioly is the Scioly Wiki. In my experience, studying for Science Olympiad events has helped out somewhat in quizbowl, although not overly so. You're probably better off going out and learning quizbowl science on your own.
