2014 MOQBA Winter Invitational @ Kirksville HS (1/11/2014)

Hello everyone,

I'm pleased to announce that Kirksville will once again be hosting the Northeastern site of the MOQBA Winter Invitational on January 11, 2014. Coach Odzinski is graciously allowing me to direct this tournament again. We will be using NAQT's Invitational Series 131-A, which will also be used for Winter Invitational sites at Waynesville and Orchard Farm on the same day, Truman High School's sKnow Bowl on the same day, and an event at Perryville on January 18.

Fee Structure
Base Fee: $60 per team
Second and subsequent teams from the same school: $55 per team. (So if you bring 2 teams, they will cost $115 before any discounts you claim)
Buzzer Discount: $5 per fully functional system (I will not be giving this discount for any broken buzzer systems; the system has to let 8 people play)
New to MOQBA Events Discount: $10 for any team that did not play a MOQBA event last year
Experienced Moderator Discount: $20 for each experienced moderator a team brings. (I need to approve the discount, so please email me before the tournament and I'll let you know if I approve the moderator; I don't really see turning anybody down, however)

Registration
All you need to do is email me at jacob.orourke.7 [at] gmail.com and tell me how many teams, buzzers and moderators you will be bringing and if you are claiming any other discounts. Once you've received an official confirmation email from me, you will be registered for the event.

Hannibal defeated Clark County 350-335 in the first game of an advantage final. It was easily the best game I've ever read.
