I am currently in the process of writing a Star Wars Quizbowl packet, and would like people to test it for me so I can better determine where to place power marks. I'll post questions as I write them, and if you all could let me know when you know the answer, I would greatly appriciate it. Thank you.

1.Born on the planet Eraidu, this man's first chronological appearance is as a captain in the clone wars cartoons, noting to Anakin Skywalker "at least we agree on something" That character was voiced by Steven Starsson and in Revenge of the Sith is portrayed by Wyane Pigmon. This villain’s primary role, however, came in A new Hope in which he is described as bearing a “foul stench” before asking a protagonist if she would prefer a military target, and later declining to evacuate in his “moment of triumph”, despite the threat of Death Star implosion. Charming to the last, this high-ranking, imperial officer even wielded power over Lord Vader, himself. For 10 points identify this “Grand Moff”, played by the British actor, Peter Cushing

You do realize that posting questions on forums basically makes them useless questions (unless they're just for fun).

This is a Star Wars packet. It's completely for my own amusement, and the enjoyment of those who partake.

It's "Cushing."

Also, he didn't first appear in the cartoons, he first appeared in A New Hope. Chronologically, his first appearance is in the cartoons.

A better idea would probably be to read these tossups to a group of friends and have them offer input, finish the packet while doing that, and then post the packet here for a wider critique.

"You're sure the tracking beacon is secure aboard their ship? I'm taking an awful risk here, Vader. This had better work."

Seriously, if you do finish this packet, please don't spoil it or anything--just put it up here in document form. At least two Bellarmine players will come to blows when hearing this read to them.

I'm going to write an actual good Mike Cheyne style packet on Star Wars in the near future.

I'm going to copyright the "Mike Cheyne-style" packet at some point.

I would make the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs to play this!

To address the original query, I'd put the power mark right before "foul stench." I would also play the crap out of a full-fledged Star Wars tournament.

Thank you for the advice. I'll finish the packet before posting. Though speaking of the Kessel Run, that's my last name.
