23rd annual Brookwood Invitational Scholars Bowl Nov 20,

Spots remain in the 23rd annual BISB should anyone desire to enter a team or teams.
The BISB is held at Brookwood High School in the northeast suburbs of Atlanta, GA. It is a one-day event featuring anywhere from 90 to 144 teams from several states (9 states in 2009). Current and former Brookwood Academic Team players and coaches do the housewrite. Questions are exclusively academic and pyramidal in form.

Match Format:
Part One: 10 tossups
Part Two: 4, 4-question topical Give-and-Take's
Part Three: 8-10 tossups with related, 3-part bonuses using bouncebacks
Tournament Format:
Divisions of 6 teams each made by tournament director based on perceived strength and geographical balance if possible
5 prelims for seeding purposes
All teams seeded into a single-elimination playoff.
