In an effort to spread Quiz Bowl to more parts of New York and Connecticut, Middlesex Middle School in Darien, CT is planning on hosting a novice/new to quiz bowl tournament on Saturday, June 6th. We would likely feature NAQT's MS-14 questions packet. Since this is a novice tournament, we are looking for schools who are new quiz bowl, or teams with novice players from established programs.
The tournament will run from 9:00 AM to around 3:00 on Saturday, June 6th.
The cost will be $50 per team, with a $5 buzzer discount and $10 moderator discount.
No meals will be provided, but there will be a lunch break. Teams are encouraged to bring lunch or order from the local deli's/pizzerias.
