Carmel Knowledge Bowl (New Orleans, LA - 2/7/15)

Mt. Carmel Academy in New Orleans, LA will be hosting a middle school tournament on February 7th. The questions will be NAQT's MS-13.

The tournament is open to students in 8th grade and below. We expect to have two separate divisions: junior (6th grade and below) and senior (8th grade and below).

The tournament will use NAQT rules in a 20 tossup/20 bonus format. Complete rules are at naqt.com/rules.html . Sample questions are available at http://www.naqt.com/samples/middle-school-series.pdf .

Teams will play up to six games. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and games will start at approximately 9 a.m. We hope to finish at noon. There is no limit to the number of teams from a school, but each team is limited to a maximum of six players.

The fee for the first team from a school is $40. Each additional team is $30. This fee includes a printed copy of the questions for your school to use as practice material.

Trophies will be provided to the top two teams and the top four individual scorers.
