DCC Fall Middle School Tournament (Sat Nov 1 Novi, MI MS-11)

Academic Team Coaches:

It is my pleasure to announce the Second Annual Detroit Catholic Central Middle School Fall Academic Tournament which will be held Saturday, November 1st at Detroit Catholic Central High School’s campus located at 27225 Wixom Road, Novi, MI, 48374.

The tournament will be using the NAQT MS-11 set. The questions are intended for middle school players through grade 8. Each game will feature two halves with ten questions. The top finishers will qualify for the NAQT Middle School National Championship Tournament (MSNCT) held in Dallas, TX May 8-10, 2015.

Tournament bracketing and playoff format will be determined once a clearer picture of the size of the field is obtained.

In order to encourage participation, we are pleased to announce that we will only be charging teams the cost of the question set this season. The fee structure is as follows
• $20 cost per team
• $5 discount per buzzer system

Please make all checks payable to Catholic Central Academic Team, 27225, Wixom Road, Novi, MI, 48374.

We look forward to your attendance at our tournament. Tournament registration can be made by emailing me at [email protected]. Please also feel free to email me with any questions at the same email address.

Registration opens at 8:00 A.M. until 8:30 A.M. followed by a brief meeting for coaches and players. We expect to begin play promptly at 9:00A.M.

Please note that we have decided to host the tournament on the original day it was scheduled.

Stats are finally fixed and posted. All Saints B defeated St. Michael A in the finals 335-260 to win the tournament.
