White Station high School Quiz Bowl Tournament

Fellow Quiz Bowlers:

There will be a tournament at White Station High School, 514 South Perkins Road
Memphis, Tennessee 38117, on April 19, 2014.

There will be two sections: Middle School and High School

The Middle School section will play a full round-robin. The field cap in 10 teams.

The High School section will have 2 divisions of 8. Each division will compete in a round-robin. The top 2 teams from each division will compete in single-elimination playoffs. The field cap is 16 teams.

The cost for High School: $65/team with a $5 discount per buzzer system

The cost for Middle School: $55 with a $5 discount per buzzer system.

The rules will be 20/20 untimed. So: 10 tossups per half, 2 halves, a quick scorecheck/opportunity to switch members out during halftime, and the 3-part bonuses of NAQT NO bounceback.

Middle School (NAQT Packet MS-10) = 10 team round-robin. Tiebreakers will be playoffs and then points per bonus.
High School (NAQT Packet IS-130) = 16 teams. Divisions of 8 will play a round robin with the top 2 from each division competing in Single Elimination playoff.

Rules: 20/20 untimed

*working is defined as a lock-out system with at least 8 buzzers and a power cord. Please don't bring a buzzer if it doesn't work.
