Bulldog Tournament - 11/2/13 (Lexington, KY)

The Dunbar Academic Team is pleased to announce the 2013 iteration of the Bulldog Middle School Tournament. It will be hosted on November 2, 2013 at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Lexington, KY. Registration will start at 8:15, and play will start at 9:00.
As usual, questions will be house-written, and the tournament will consist of five rounds of pool play followed by five rounds in which the teams’ ranks will be determined by a card system. All teams will be guaranteed ten rounds of play.
The field will initially be capped at 36 teams. Registration will be $50 per team, and all teams must bring a functional buzzer system. Please email me at [email protected] by Friday, October 25th, if you wish to register.

Here is a sample round of questions taken from various previous years. The questions for this year are also written in the same way, and there is also a worksheet round between halves. The worksheets consist of fifteen bonus-length or shorter questions that are thematically linked but represent all subject areas.
