NHBB & USGO 2016 Middle School Nationals: Chicago, Jun 10-12

Post by Great Bustard »

The 2016 Middle School and Elementary Division National Championships of the National History Bee & Bowl and US Geography Olympiad will be held on June 10-12 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Rosemont, IL near Chicago. The schedule of the weekend will look very similar to that of this year with the US Geography Olympiad on Friday morning, subject exams, the National Citizenship Bee and the Pop Culture Challenge on Friday afternoon/evening, the History Bee on Saturday and the History Bowl on Sunday. We are in the process of looking into dates for future years beyond 2016 for our elementary and middle school Nationals - no other further dates and sites have been confirmed at this time.

Is that the Geography Olympiad for the younger kids or for the high school kids, too?

This is for Middle and Elementary School Students - if they qualify for JV Nationals in April in Arlington, they are welcome to attend both, as the questions used are different.

What is the National Citizenship Bee about? Is it buzzer based or is it like the subject exams?
