National History Bowl & US Geography Olympiad Draws

As promised, these are ready tonight. The Bee draw should be ready tomorrow. An email will go out to all USGO participants and Bowl teams with this information within a few hours too. A few notes:
1) USGO rooms are set. No student who is here is going to have their draw shifted at this point. If there are drops (and there are already two since I finalized the draw), then a few rooms may have one fewer student or so for a given round.
2) In the Bowl, Victor (NY) is a drop. I am trying to get in touch with a team that has expressed interest in filling their slot, and I am about 80% sure they will opt to do so tomorrow. If they do, they can slot right in without any further issues in the draw needing to be changed, aside from the room locations of the matches within their group. We will update accordingly on the website as needed
3) Links to these pages, and the Bee draw, and the "Where you need to go and when you need to be there" file will be updated to the respective websites within 24 hours.
4) If you are at any time confused about where to go and when to be there, come to the help desk (at the top of the escalator), email [email protected] or call 202 352 4742. Please do not call, email, or private message me going forward until next week.
5) Solo teams, Middle school teams, and Small school eligible teams have been indicated as such. There are separate playoffs for all three of these subdivisions.
6) As of this posting, there's still a short answer column on the USGO pages, but we are not doing that this year, and we'll be deleting it soon.

Lastly, a tremendous thank you to Andrew Feist for his creation and maintenance of the online draw pages. These will be updated in real time for anyone interested in following the progress of the weekend.

The Bee draws are now live at

As with the others, put 2013 at the end for the archives of last year.

There's an issue with the JV rooms. When one looks at the list of all players, people who are assigned to one of the Arlington Ballroom are just listed as "Room Ballroom" for all six rounds regardless of which ballroom they're scheduled for. They are distinguished on the other two pages.
