Eastside High School (Covington, GA) is pleased to announce that we plan to host a mirror of the SSNCT on May 11 (The NAQT Small Schools National Championship to be held in Chicago May 4). We will use timed rounds and all other rules you will find at the HSNCT two weeks later (the only discrepancy might be 10 minute halves to ensure teams hear as many tossups as possible). https://www.naqt.com/rules/

We have an initial cap of 12 teams due to limited number of moderators in whom I have relative confidence can read appropriately well. In the hopes of getting more readers who can simulate the pace and quality such a tournament requires, we could expand the field to as many as 24.

Our plan is to offer 10-12 rounds, depending on field size and format. (For reference, last year, we completed 10.5 rounds before 3:00 PM – and teams averaged over 21 tossups heard per match).

Lunch will be provided on site for purchase (pizza, chips, drink, $5).

The cost for the tournament is $75 per team, but with a discount of -$20 each for providing moderators who can average 20 tossups per match with acceptable quality in two 10 minute halves.

The EAST IV is almost at it's initial field cap of 12 teams, however if enough teams register we are willing to move the tournament up to 18 teams!

EAST IV has reached its final field cap of 18 teams. A wait list will be created for any further interested teams. We look forward to a very competitive tournament.

The EAST IV (SSNCT mirror) results are as follows:
1st - Lambert, 9-1
2nd - Northview A, 8-2
3rd - Midtown Classical, 8-3

4th - Dorman, 7-4

Midtown and Dorman played an 11th match to break a 7-3 tie for third.
