Dorman High School 29th Cavalier Challenge Roebuck, SC January 19th

Dorman High School would like to invite you to participate in our 29th Cav Challenge on Saturday, January 19, 2019. We will be mirroring the BLISS set for Varsity and JV teams. The registration fee is $65.00 per team. There will be a $5.00 discount available for a working buzzer. There will be a $10 moderator discount in addition to a $10 travel discount for teams from over 100 miles away.
There will be a preliminary cap of 48 Varsity teams, 24 Junior Varsity teams, and 12 Middle School teams. Teams are limited to six players, with four playing at a time. Substitutions may be made at halftime.

Check-in will be held in the Dorman main lobby beginning at 7:45 AM. There will be an opening meeting in the cafeteria at 8:40 AM. Preliminary rounds will start promptly at 9:00 AM. Lunch will be after 5 rounds. Playoff rounds will begin after lunch. The tournament should be over by approximately 5:00 PM.

Lunch will be on site for $5.00 per player and complimentary for up to one coach per team. Please email me at [email protected] with any questions.

In the varsity division, Woodford County A defeated Woodford County B in the final of the 29th Cavalier Academic Challenge by a score of 315 to 225. TJ Classical A defeated Eastside A 265 to 235 in the third-place match.

In the junior varsity division, Southside JV B defeated Daniel JV A in an extremely close game, 135 to 125.

In the middle school division, TJ Classical cleared the field by winning every match of the double round-robin.

Thanks to everyone that came to compete today, and we are hopeful you will join us again next year for the thirtieth edition. Just a reminder that our annual Season Ender tournament will be held on April 27th.
