Jag Bowl VIII March 29, 2014

The eighth edition of the Jag Bowl will take place March 29, 2014, at Cedar Shoals HS. We will be using Maggie Walker's GSAC. Like last year, we are implementing TWO divisions: Nationals and Varsity.

The Nationals division is for teams who have competed in the HSNCT since 2011 or have qualified for the 2014 HSNCT*. We will be referencing the qualified list on the GA forum and NAQT's website to confirm teams are where they need to be.

*We will keep track of all tournaments in terms of qualifying up to Mar 8, 2014. With that said, please be honest as to the division you're applying for.**

Varsity is everyone else (B teams [unless they qualified for HSNCT too], D teams, JVs, MSs who really want a challenge, etc.)

All Nationals division rounds will be 20/20 rounds with negs (I can't remember off hand if GSAC had powers). NO BOUNCEBACKS will be used. Teams are limited to FOUR players

Varsity division rounds will be 16/16. Bouncebacks will be used. Negs will not. Teams can consist of up to FIVE players

We MAY do individuals for both. May.

Both divisions will be capped at twelve teams. National may play a full round robin while Varsity may play a prelim/rebracket format (teams in Varsity may opt out of the rebracket if they so choose).

A Google registration form will be emailed to all teams in the middle of February, but we figured we'd start getting the word out now. If you're interested and know that we don't have your email, please email us at [email protected] to get on the email list in January or post a reply here.

Fees:
$70 for one team
$130 for two teams
$180 for three teams
$220 for four teams (limit)*
$5 per worker discount (limit three)
$5 up to first two teams for travel if coming from outside Georgia

*Teams from the same school can play in both divisions (like if A qualified but B didn't). However, if the team(s) qualified for HSNCT, they must play in the Nationals Division.
