To basically echo the other responses on this thread, ACE is very worthwhile. Our team is a great deal better for having gone the past two years, and I'd guess we'll go again. I don't think that there is a better or more way enjoyable way to improve a great deal in a short time, in addition to meeti...

Where it's at, you are right about Danville, they did beat us at Hart Co. minus a couple of starters and are the only KY team to do so as of yet. As far as bracketing, I agree with you completely, the one quad that you are talking is very wide open, while the other three all have at least two very s...

I think that Manual, Dunbar, and Russell have the best chances. The quick recall format makes depth of knowlege a bit less important, with the emphaisis being breadth and speed.

I'm not real sure as far as the overall standings, since i have no clue about the written assesment abilities of the players for some of the other top teams.
As far as quick recall, i see it being a three-team race between Manual, Dunbar, and Russell.

We, (Dupont) have done pretty well, we just have an odd knack for finding ways to lose semifinal matches. We lost by ten to Walton on a sudden death question, lost by thirty to Dorman after leading for a good chunk of the match, and lost by five to Brookwood who we had beaten the previous day. I tru...

I don't know how it was sent, or even if it has been yet, but I'll let our coach know that you'd rather have it emailed. I believe that all three teams would be varsity.

Those were the finalists and semifinalists. Walton beat Dorman by I think 20 in the finals. We lost a tight 290-280 game in sudden death to Walton in the semis.

Eltennis, I would assume that you probably do have strong seniors, as weak classes aren't exactly the norm at Dunbar. I just haven't been exposed to them, or if I was I was, I don't remember it. I'm Jack Hartz, and I was the captain of the Manual JV last year. Eastern's captain is Nick Wellkamp, who...

Eltennis, I think I expect a little more out of Dunbar this year than you appear to. They will probably be somewhat down without John and some others and I don't know about their seniors, but their junior class is very strong and they should definetely be in the thick of things this year. I see Russ...
