Please sign up via this extremely quick Google form - this will help me gauge the extent of interest and determine if I need to split this event into multiple rooms based on skill level (and find an additional reader). Re: JaMES: How well do you know your Bible? (Summer 2020)
As per the results of the poll I linked upthread, I'll be doing a Discord reading of the entire set starting at 9 PM Eastern on Saturday, January 6th. I'll try and host this in one of the #packet channels in the main Discord but can also create a separate server if necessary.

Re: JaMES (Bible side-event) Reading [Poll]
It's not too selfish at all! I added some options for the first weekend of January. I also realized that I left out the exact dates on the original options, so I've clarified those as well - the earliest possible reading isn't be tonight, but next Thursday (12/28) . Apologies for any confusion I may...

I still plan on hosting a reading, but I'm moving it away from Festivus since this year's lineup is pretty crowded. I'm shooting for sometime towards the end of next week - you can find a scheduling poll here!

JaMES (Bible side-event) Reading [Poll]
At long last, the time has come - all ~90 questions of JaMES (a Bible-themed side event co-written by Michael Kearney, Jonathan Suh, and myself) should be ready for a Discord reading by the end of the year. I've posted a few options during the second half of next week, please get your votes in by ne...

Re: JaMES: How well do you know your Bible? (Summer 2023)
A much belated update: as members of the JaMES team have taken on additional roles and responsibilities over the past five years (including, but not limited to, ACF President!) we've had to repeatedly push back the set. Unfortunately, at this point it's unlikely that we'll be able to finish JaMES as...

I'd argue that "Careless Whisper" is a more iconic Wham! song than 'Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go," but perhaps others who are bit older than me should weigh in on that. Here's a random list of other songs for you to consider: Rick James - Super Freak Bobby Brown - My Prerogative Europe...

I had one question from my read-through of this set, from the tossup on "ribose" in Packet 5:
Doesn't this clue refer to ribulose, not ribose?
and its 5-phosphate is formed from 6-phosphogluconate in the final oxidative step of the (*) pentose phosphate pathway.
Doesn't this clue refer to ribulose, not ribose?
