From emails I got back in November, it seems like a bunch of schools in the Northeast (including Harvard) have already declined to host a physical mirror. So, if one of those schools—or another in the Northeast—decided that they'd be fine with hosting, would Stanford still be okay with that?

I also still stand by what I wrote in that thread—if you're interested in science, taking AP science courses, and can bring yourself to overlook the stupid format quirks, Science Bowl is an intellectually rewarding activity. I'd encourage you to give it a try!

There were also some goofy ideas, like calling Prince Charles a thinker... Those clues were intended to be a little whimsical, but not totally illegitimate—if I remember correctly, Terry Eagleton actually reviewed "Harmony" when it came out (not that he had anything nice to say about it, but still)...
