Re: Books "for Quizbowl"

Any recommendations for good page turner art books? Non-fiction preferred, but if it's a good novelization (like the suggested Agony and Ecstasy upthread), I would give it a go. It doesn't have to be a survey book. For reference, I liked the Art of Rivalry, which covered four notable two-wise relat...

I'm aware of the occasional timeout issues for QuizDB, we're basically hitting the server limits as the site (and QB) gets more popular. I still plan to migrate off of Heroku to Azure, but that doesn't really solve the cost issues, just scales the cost down. (I don't really have the bandwidth to imp...

I wouldn't mind being included on a team. My details are listed in the spreadsheet Jordan linked. I'd prefer not to write questions, but I wouldn't mind doing so if that's the only way to play.

Some various things I've seen good coaches do: - Keep score. Yeah, it'd be nice to know some of the estimated incentives for hosting as well. ACF Nats has the nice incentive that you qualify a team and you don't have to travel at all, but I'm wondering about estimated money split, tradeoffs from not being able to play the Pop Culture National, etc.
