Attend as many quiz bowl tournaments as you can. I just finsished moving, the masters' degree program is in the rear-view mirror, and suddenly I have a lot more time on my hands than in years past. I just received an email from Dale Thayer indicating that the Masonic tournament will again be using QG and that ridiculous new format. Maybe a massive boycott is in order. I may be able to offer Greenville as a site for Oct 30, but I'm afraid that would be over-egging the pudding in this part of the state since you have sites at Springfield & Carbondale.

Feb 12 for the Comet Open is unlikely to be confirmed until start of the 2010-2011 school year.

I'm also wanting to add a Frosh-Soph tournament in either October or November for Greenville. This is just in the idea stage, more details to come.
