Our understanding of the situation is that Colgate's Division I players helped staff the tournament rather than playing (which is why Colgate did not field a Division I team at an SCT taking place on their own campus).

Regarding going to NAQT tournaments as part of a collective, I would triple check with a tournament director if would be allowed. I would imagine that NAQT and the hosts would discourage doing this, but I guess it can't hurt to ask. "Collective" or "coalition" teams are ineligible under NAQT's rule...

The Brown team has informed NAQT that they are unable to reserve rooms for next weekend. We have begun the process of reserving rooms for the New England SCT at Harvard; I expect a formal announcement of the change tomorrow once the Harvard administration formally confirms rooms for Saturday.
