Re: QuBIT V @ High Tech - Feb. 9, 2019

We've hit 28 teams, with five teams on the waitlist. While we have enough physical space to expand to 32 teams, it's looking unlikely that we will due to limited buzzers. just kidding, it's happening

And we've reached 24 teams. We'll officially expand the field, probably to 28 teams, once we get a couple more signups.

We're a little less than a month away from the tournament, and we're approaching our soft field cap of 24. However, we have space to expand the field if there's enough interest, so make sure to sign up!

You can find that here: https://grogerranks.wordpress.com/2018/11/10/the-applicability-of-groger-ranks-to-actual-games-an-analysis/ The reason I ...

Re: QuBIT V @ High Tech - Feb. 9, 2019

QuBIT V has been certified as a Platinum qualifier by PACE! The top 25% of teams who attend (i.e. the top six if we reach our current field cap) will qualify for the NSC in June.

Re: NY/NJ/PA/CT/Surrounding Area Discussion '17/'18

Any predictions before nationals? (Honestly, this is more me trying to get to know the landscape of the region this year after having been absent for so long) Hunter is probably a clear favorite in the area, and I don't forsee that changing too much. After that, I think that Lehigh, High Tech, and ...

The field for QuBIT has filled up, so we will now be allowing schools to register a fourth team for the waitlist. We will expand the field if there is enough interest, so make sure you fill out the form to get first dibs if those spots open up!

Re: Good YouTube Channels for Studying

As a science (mostly physics and math) player, Numberphile, Computerphile, SixtySymbols, and PBS Space Time are some of my personal favorites. I've also heard good things about PBS Eons and PBS Infinite Series, though I haven't watched them myself.
